A launch film has 30 seconds to say what your token is and how to check it. Here is the structure, the formats each platform wants, and how to get a first cut from a contract address.

A token launch video shows, in 20 to 40 seconds, the idea in one line, the name and ticker exactly as written, what the token is for, the facts people can check (supply, allocation, lock, where it trades) and the contract address with one official link. It promises nothing about price. Export it in 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16 so it fits X, Telegram and vertical feeds. On loudscene you paste the contract address and get a first cut in every format in minutes.
This guide covers the structure of a launch film beat by beat, what to leave out, the formats each platform wants, the kinds of launch film worth making, and how to make one from a contract address.
The structure of a token launch film#
A launch film has one job: a stranger who watches it with the sound off should know what the token is, why it exists and how to check it. Six beats do that in about 30 seconds. Stretch or squeeze them in proportion for a longer or shorter cut.
- 1
0 to 3 s: the hook
The question your project answers, or the problem it solves, in a few big words. Not your logo: nobody knows it yet.
- 2
3 to 8 s: the problem
The situation your holders or users are in, in their words. One line.
- 3
8 to 14 s: the reveal
The name and the ticker, exactly as written in your docs, with one line on what the token does.
- 4
14 to 24 s: the facts
Two or three checkable facts: total supply, the allocation as your docs publish it, the liquidity lock and its term, the pair and where it trades.
- 5
24 to 28 s: the contract
The contract address on screen long enough to read, with the chain. Fakes copy names and logos; the contract is what people should check.
- 6
28 to 32 s: the close
One official link and your handle, on the same closing card you will use for every film after this one.
CHIT’s launch film, at the top of this post, follows the same shape: a typed question over a token card full of question marks, the problem, the name revealed with a gesture from its own website, two features on the product’s real cards and its closing line. Our CHIT case study breaks it down second by second.
What to leave out of a launch video#
- Price talk. No targets, no “100x”, no “get in early”. It invites the wrong audience and the platforms’ moderators, and it is not something you can promise.
- Figures you cannot link to. If a number is on screen, it should be in your docs, on the explorer or on a page you can point at.
- Partners you have not announced. A logo wall of “partners” who never said so is the fastest way to lose trust.
- Long roadmaps. One idea per film. Leave the roadmap, the burn and the lock to films of their own; that also gives you something to post in week two.
- Tiny text. Many people watch muted on a phone. Every line should be readable at arm’s length in the time it is on screen.
Launch video formats for each platform#
Most launch traffic happens on X and Telegram, with vertical feeds close behind. Make one story and lay it out again for each shape, rather than cropping one file.
| Where | Format | Size | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| X feed | 16:9 or 1:1 | 1920 × 1080 or 1080 × 1080 | Square takes more of the feed on a phone |
| Telegram group or channel | 16:9 or 1:1 | 1920 × 1080 or 1080 × 1080 | Plays inline in the chat; pin it with the contract |
| TikTok, Reels, Shorts | 9:16 | 1080 × 1920 | Keep text out of the top and bottom, where buttons sit |
| Facebook and Instagram feed | 4:5 | 1080 × 1350 | Taller than square, so it holds more of the screen |
| YouTube, your site, a pitch | 16:9 | 1920 × 1080 | The master most people make first |
Our Reels, TikTok and Shorts specs list the lengths and safe zones for vertical video, and the Facebook and Instagram ad specs cover feeds.
Four kinds of launch film worth making#
One film rarely covers launch week. These four each answer a different question, and together they fill the first days.
- The launch film. What it is and why it exists: the six beats above. Post it first and pin it.
- The how-to-buy walkthrough. The real screens, step by step: where to buy, which chain, what to check. It answers the question your group will ask a hundred times.
- The facts card. Supply, allocation, lock and contract, as one short film people can share when someone asks “is this safe?”. Point them at a trust check as well.
- The first-week recap. What launched, the first burn, the holder count, what shipped. It turns launch week into a story for the people who missed it.
The fomo film below is a walkthrough of that second kind: a trading app’s buy flow rebuilt as a live phone demo, from sign-in to the badges, taken from its own site and films.
How to make a launch video from a contract address on loudscene#
- 1
Paste the contract address
Paste the address, or its Torch, Dexscreener or explorer link, where you would paste a website. We read the token’s market data on Dexscreener and its site or logo.
- 2
Add your own facts
Paste your announcement, docs page or a post on X as the brief. The story is written from those facts, and any number the AI could not find in your material is flagged for you to check.
- 3
Pick the story
Token launch puts the ticker, the allocation bar and the contract on screen; Token launch film carries the whole launch in one continuous take, cut on the beat.
- 4
Check and edit
Every word, number and colour stays editable in the browser. Market figures are read when you make the film, so check they still hold before you post.
- 5
Export every format
One credit covers a video of up to 60 seconds in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5. The Raid pack adds three hooks and ready-to-copy posts for X and Telegram.
After launch, keep the rhythm going with our 30-day post-launch plan; if you are launching on Robinhood Chain, read how to launch a token on Torch. Browse other projects’ films in the crypto films gallery, or start from the crypto templates.
Before you post: a launch video checklist#
- The first three seconds say what the project is, without sound.
- The name and ticker match your docs exactly, including capitals.
- Every figure is in your docs, on the explorer or on a page you can link.
- The contract address on screen matches your official links, character for character.
- There is no price, return or “early” language anywhere, captions included.
- You exported each shape you plan to post, not one file cropped by the platform.
Questions
Asked often.
How long should a token launch video be?
Between 20 and 40 seconds for X, Telegram and vertical feeds. That is enough for a hook, the problem, the name and ticker, two or three checkable facts and the contract. Save the roadmap and the tokenomics detail for films of their own.
What should a token launch video show?
The idea in one line, the name and ticker exactly as written, what the token is for, checkable facts such as supply, allocation, liquidity lock and where it trades, the contract address with its chain, and one official link. Nothing about price or returns.
Can I make a launch video from just a contract address?
Yes. On loudscene you paste the contract address or its Torch or Dexscreener link; it reads the token’s market data and its site or logo and builds a film around the real figures, which you can edit before exporting every format.
Which format should a crypto launch video use?
Make a 16:9 or square master for X and Telegram, then lay it out again in 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts and in 4:5 for Facebook and Instagram feeds. loudscene exports all four from one credit.
