The terms, in plain words.

Loudscene turns a brand (a website, a logo, colours) into animated videos. These terms apply when you use loudscene.com, the app, the public API, the GitHub App and any video page we host. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Loudscene for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

Plain language wins over legal style here: if something is unclear, write to contact@loudscene.com and we will explain it.

• You need to be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
• Keep your sign-in methods and API keys safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what teammates and API keys do.
• Workspace owners decide who joins and with which role. Client reviewers only see the videos shared with them.

You own what you bring (your site text, logos, images, music, facts) and the videos you make with it. You give us a limited licence to store, process and render that content only to run the service for you: extracting your brand, generating and rendering videos, hosting share pages you create, and keeping backups.

Nothing becomes public unless you choose it: a share link is unlisted, and a video appears in the public gallery only if you tick “Show in gallery”. You can turn either off at any time. Remixing is allowed on gallery videos and on share links where you left it on.

Our own software, the video engine, the built-in stories and the Loudscene brand remain ours. The stories and effects are licensed to you for use in your videos.

When you paste a website, upload a logo or pick fonts, you confirm you own that brand or have permission to use it in videos. Do not make videos that pretend to be another company or person. We may remove videos and suspend accounts that impersonate brands, and we respond to takedown requests (see “Reporting and takedowns”).

Fonts: we only use fonts with open licences (OFL or Apache), or fonts you upload and confirm you are licensed to use.

Loudscene uses AI models to write the script and the animation code of your videos. AI can be wrong. We instruct it to use only facts from your website and brief, and we flag numbers or names it could not find there, but you are responsible for checking every video before you publish it, especially prices, figures, dates and claims.

We moderate briefs and will not generate content that promises guaranteed returns (“100x”), impersonates brands, looks like a scam, or contains hate or adult material. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we ask the AI providers we use not to either.

• No illegal content, harassment, hate, adult content, misleading financial promotion or malware.
• No attempts to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, the sandboxed player or the API.
• No scraping of other people's share pages, and no reselling of the service without a written agreement.

Plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe; we never see your card. One credit renders one version of a video up to 60 seconds in every format; longer videos use one credit per started minute. Each plan includes a number of AI generations a month (twice its credits; 2 on Free) and of chat edits per video (10 on Free); past them, one credit buys 4 more generations or 10 more chat edits on that video. Field edits are always free.

Plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Credit packs (5 credits) stay valid for 12 months. Prices may change; we will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription.

• You can cancel anytime from Billing. Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for.
• If a render fails on our side, its credit is refunded automatically.
• If you are unhappy with a new subscription, write to us within 14 days of the first payment and, if you have used fewer than 3 credits, we refund it in full. Consumers in the EU keep their statutory rights in any case.
• Unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of their credits were used.

Every video you share carries your referral code. When someone signs up through it and pays, you earn 30% of what they pay for as long as they stay a paying customer, and 40% once you have 25 active paying customers. The people you bring get double credits in their first month.

• Commission is earned only on paid invoices, becomes payable 30 days after payment, and is reversed if the payment is refunded or disputed.
• Payouts are monthly through Stripe Connect once you have at least $50.
• No self-referrals, no fake accounts, no paid ads on the Loudscene name, and no spam. We may withhold commission earned in breach of these rules.
• There is one level only: you never earn on people your referrals bring.

$LOUD is loudscene's own token on Robinhood Chain. We plan to launch it alongside the service. It is not live yet, nothing on loudscene today is an offer to buy or sell any token, and the service never requires one: every plan can be paid in dollars. How it works, in short: loudscene.com/token.

• Paying in crypto. Payments in $LOUD or ETH open only after graduation, when the token's launch curve sells out and it moves to a public pool. They give 20% off the list price, never combined with the yearly discount, plus 1% for swap and network costs; VAT is included in the price shown. Crypto buys credit packs or 1 to 12 prepaid months and never renews on its own. Prices are set in dollars; the number of tokens is worked out at checkout. Subscriptions that renew stay on Stripe, and token payments never go through Stripe.
• Burn. 30% of each crypto payment is burned in the same transaction and 70% goes to our treasury.
• Refunds of crypto payments follow the same rules as card payments, but we can only refund the 70% that reached our treasury: the burned 30% is gone for good. Checkout tells you this before you pay.
• Subscriber bonus. Our share of $LOUD trading fees funds a monthly bonus for paying subscribers of up to 2x the plan's videos (2.5x when the plan was paid in crypto). The bonus is always video credits, never money or tokens. It counts over 30-day cycles, is added when your plan renews (at most 7 days after the cycle ends; without a renewal it lapses), and its credits are valid for 30 days. A refunded or disputed payment cancels its bonus. It depends on trading fees, so it can be zero.
• Nothing is given for holding or locking $LOUD.

In plain words: $LOUD is for paying for loudscene. We make no promise about its price or value; token prices can fall, even to zero, so only use what you can afford to lose. Crypto payments cannot be reversed by a bank. The launch and these rules are subject to a legal review under the EU's crypto-asset rules (MiCA), may change before launch, and $LOUD may not be offered in every country.

Every share page has a Report link. If you believe a video infringes your rights (copyright, trademark, impersonation), write to contact@loudscene.com with the link and why. We review reports quickly, can hide a video while we look, and tell its owner.

We work hard to keep Loudscene running and your videos safe, but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it. We will announce material changes to these terms at least 30 days in advance.
